Grammy Award winners, Jonathan McReynolds and Mali Music have collaborated for a new EP Project Jonny x Mali: Live in LA, which will be released on Friday, September 24.

The project contains six songs, including “Adulting,” which is available now as an instant grat track. The live EP also includes their hit song, “Movin’ On,” which has reached over 2 million views on YouTube.

Both artists have co-written songs on the project as well, including “Jump Ship,” “Enough,” “Miracle,” and “Everlasting.” The new EP is a co-artist release in partnership between Jonathan’s label Life Room Label, eOne Music, Mali’s imprint K Approved Enterprises, and RCA Inspiration.

Reynolds is a highly accomplished artist who has also won Stellar and Dove Awards. In an interview, he expressed his gratitude towards God for all his success.

“It’s humbling because I just know that there’s a lot of things about me that aren’t perfect and prestigious, I haven’t made all the right choices and I haven’t had all the confidence in the world sometimes, so for stuff like that to happen is really dope, you know? Just the grace of God.”

Malli Music, who became popular after his feature on Kirk Franklin’s “Give Me,” has a deep-rooted relationship with God, so much so, that he’s willing to end a relationship with women if he feels like it burdens his relationship with the Lord.

“Something could be going good with a young lady in the times I might be dealing with, and I’m like, ‘yeah, I gotta’ go. I don’t have a reason other than I should just stop. There’s no restraint in anything other than the relationship with him,” he confessed.

The “Heavy Love” singer sometimes has a rocky relationship with God’s word, however, because it often challenges him. “[The word] it’s like working out, or [the] spa, or any type of necessary doctor, or health-based thing. You appreciate it, but it’s that scary work.”

McReynolds celebrated his 32 birthday on Friday, September 17 with the promotion of the collaboration. “Starting my birthday off big. JonnyxMali pre-orders begin and Adulting premieres at 12 am EST,” his caption wrote.
