Michael Todd, the senior pastor of Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma is releasing his newest book, Crazy Faith: It’s Only Crazy Until It Happens on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
“In Crazy Faith, Pastor Michael Todd shows us how to step out in faith and dive into the purposeful life of trusting God for the impossible. Even if you have to start with baby faith or maybe faith, you can become empowered to let go of your lazy faith, trust God through your hazy faith, and learn to live a lifestyle of crazy faith,” reads the book’s synopsis.
The book is inspired by a sermon series the megachurch pastor preached at his church with the same name. In the series, Todd explained how he started his own path to crazy faith when he began making extraordinary requests to God.
One morning, Michael was sitting down in his daughter Bella’s room for his personal quiet time and God gave him a revelation that a building that cost more than $1 million would become his church. “The first thing God said was, ‘The SpiritBank Event Center will be a Transformation Church,’” he remembered during a TBN interview.
In 2020, he also released a #1 New York Times Best Sellers book called, Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex. The book is a “candid, inspiring guide to finding lasting love and sustaining a healthy relationship by getting real about your goals – based on the viral, multi-million-view sermon series about dating, marriage, and sex.”
According to Published Weekly, the book sold nearly 44,000 copies in its first week, and its Relationship Goals Study Guide sold more than 11,000 copies. Based on pre-sale excitement, Crazy Faith appears to be on its way to reach the same level of success.
