Kierra Sheard-Kelly and Red Rocks Worship recently collaborated on Sheard’s hit song, “Something Has To Break.” The song originally peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, #7 on the Apple Music Charts, and has over 8 million views on Youtube.

Sheard announced the news in a post to her followers on her social media.

“New music is out! 🚨 A great way to start off your #Sunday!!! So glad to have covered “Something Has To Break” with @redrocksworship,” she announced in one post. “And the visual makes you feel it even more! Dropin with us! KSK x @redrocksworship #worship#NewMusic,” she wrote in another  post.

The nine-minute rendition was recorded at Red Rocks Church in front of a live audience. Red Rocks has been promoting the new collaboration as well.

“Something Has To Break” was co-written by Kierra co-wrote alongside Jonathan Smith, Mia Fieldes, and her brother J. Drew Sheard II. Some of the powerful lyrics of the song state, “I feel it in this room/Holy Spirit, move/’Cause when you have Your way/ Something has to break Tear down every lie/ Set the wrong thing right/ ‘Cause when you have Your way/ Something has to break/Something has to break.”
