“He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.” – John 15:2
At times the behavior we engage in does not bear fruit that is consistent with God’s will. While we may attempt to make excuses for our actions, this scripture reminds us that the Lord will prune away anything that is contrary to His perfect will for our lives. God does this not to be mean, but because He corrects those whom He loves.
